Quiet Moments with LJ
Its hard to believe that LJ will be 5 in two weeks. In picking up some things upstairs, I came across an ultrasound of him at 20 weeks. Wow! So amazing to think of all that has changed in that time. The big change in him right now, is his desire to learn letters, sounds and reading. This evening, he picked out books with the "m" and "a" sounds from a series stating that they were the same as in his reading book. He loves the time we spend together but doesn't want anyone to listen to him. He isn't focused or on task for very much of the time, needs to go and get a drink at least 5 times and despite the book saying it should take 10 to 15 minutes for a lesson, we take about 30 minimum but he's having fun and learning as we go.
